In addition, 3,200 SF of existing hospital recovery areas are remodeled, including relocating the existing mechanical room to new rooftop air handlers, pre-operative area and support spaces.. The project incorporates high performance school design features using the CHPS guidelines.

Energy consumption will be less than the Title 24 baseline by more than 20%.

Project involved replacement of 33 rooftop air handling units, replacement of gas piping, new HVAC controls, new fire alarms systems and reroofing the 220,000 SF school.

Modesto Junior College Gym, Library and Forum: HVAC design for chiller replacement at Gym and Library buildings; variable speed chilled water pumping distribution system; replace cooling tower piping and pumps; air conditioning unit replacements at the Forum buildings. All retrofits included new DDC HVAC controls for new equipment and interface with campus EMS.
